La Veen at King - Brunch

What's up Perth?! What's for brunch this weekend? We are choosing La Veen for this Friday brunch place.

1.) Classic Omelette 

Light taste from this dish, which perfect for today, because Grace feels like want to have light brunch dish. Classic omelette that served with crispy toasted bread, mushrooms and chorizo, yumm yumm!

2.) Fried Chicken Poppers

Crispy chicken poppers that served with salad, this dish also has a light taste. Tasty light dish. 

3.) Raspberry and White Chocolate Muffin

For dessert, we chose raspberry and white chocolate muffin. It was fresh baked from the oven. Sweet tastes of white chocolate and bit sour from the raspberry made a balance flavour for this muffin. Should try!

Keep It Simple

Morning Lasses! Rise and shine.Today, it's a good day here in Sydney, bright sunshine for the winter. What's for today outfit? Grace just want to keep it simple, to make her comfortable for the day tour. The key of comfortable wear especially in this winter weather with chilly wind is warm outerwear, especially if you're going out for the day. 

Wearing something simple doesn't mean you will look untidy. Choose your outfit wisely but keep it simple. For today looks, Grace wearing Flower Print Shirt (Topshop), Leather Jacket (Zara), Jeans (Bershka), Bag (Coach), Shoes (Chanel).

Popped your outfit in this winter with a bright colour bag/shoes, especially if you're wearing all dark colour. It will give life on your looks.

Last but not least, wear something comfortable for your feet especially if you're doing long day walking. Seriously, the Chanel Espadrilles are so comfy for a long day tour.

Strawberry Watermelon Cake with Rose Scented Cream; this cake is Black Star Pastry Cafe's signature dish. This cake is worth a try whether should had a long queue to get this cake. This cake has great taste, because it taste fresh and not to sweet. Tasty dessert indeed!

The Palace Tea Room

The Palace Tea Room at QVB is one of the place you should go for afternoon tea/high tea. Great tea and good cakes. Love those sandwiches! How about the ambience? This place sure have a good ambience for chillin', relaxing, chit chatting with your friends. The tea room's ambience gives this european kind of feeling as well. The staffs and services were fantastic and kind. Sure, one of good place to hang out with your friends/family.

Blue Coat X Leather Boots

It's winter and it's chilly here in Sydney, but it's a fine day today, the sun is shinning brightly here, no rain which Grace likes this kind of whether. Choosing light blue coat for today will cheering up your mood, there's no harm using brighter colour during winter. Grace paired up this outfit with a black dress underneath the coat, black leather boots and last but not least her sunnies. 

This light blue coat is from Topshop. Underneath the coat is from an Australian Designer brand, Cue. Sunglasses is from MiuMiu. Blue necklace is from Collete. Leather boots is from Topshop. Grace also used black tights from Sportgirls since it's winter, can't go with bare legs. 

This leather boots by Topshop is worth to buy, they are so comfy and good height of heels. Perfect boots for everyday to match up your winter looks.

Chat Thai

Chat Thai is one of the place for food that you have to visit. This Thai restaurant has a lot of serious good food. You will love Chat Thai because of their authentic flavours. There are some of Chat Thai branches in Sydney, but for this posting we went to Chat Thai in Westfield Sydney, CBD. Long queue, but it's worth to wait for this one. 

1.) Todt Mun Bpla (Fish Cakes)

Tasty Thai's fish cakes with pickled cucumber relish. Fresh taste of the pickled cucumber relish are well combination with the fish cakes. Love it for the entree. 

2.) Nahm Dtok Nuea (Beef Salad)

This spicy char grilled beef salad has clean taste. Tasty tangy sauce in this salad that make this salad taste so fresh. Indeed a good salad!

 

3.) Mhu Grob Padt Prik Khing (Stir Fried Pork Belly)

Our highlight dish here, it's worth a try. Stir fried crisp pork belly and wild ginger in red curry paste tastes so good especially when you combined them with chat thai's jasmine rice. You won't regret when you order this one. Love the crispy pork belly, they are just hard to resist. 

4.) Gaeng Sohm Cha-Om Goong (King Prawns Tamarind Curry)

This dish is king prawns sour orange tamarind curry with omelette of accacia fronds. Good curry and doesn't taste heavy at all. 

5.) Padt Thai ( Thin Rice Noodles with Chicken *Contains peanuts*)

Stir fried thin rice noodles with chicken, dried shrimps, bean sprouts, garlic and chives in a tamarind and palm sugar sauce. Tasty padt thai that won't fail to satisfy your tummy.

For dessert, you can try this khanom buang, they are so thin and crispy. Love the sweet taste of it.

8.) Fresh Mango and Sticky Rice

Last but not least, you should give this a try. Fresh and sweet mango is well combined with the sticky rice, tasty dessert. Love it!
